“Got Questions?” Hotline
As a part of your C.A.R. dues, you and your agents can contact C.A.R.’s Legal Hotline at 213-739-8282 or legalhotline@car.org for free advice from a C.A.R. attorney with any questions regarding professional transactions, insurance matters, forms, disclosures, etc. The Legal Hotline is open from 9am to 6pm, Monday – Friday.

“Got a Claim?” Hotline
Contact your assigned attorney immediately when you receive a threat of or actual lawsuit related to your professional services, which may fall within the context of your insurance policy. Not only will you get prompt, professional advice, but also discounted fees for all work done on your behalf. We will also work to have the panel attorney of your choice recognized within your E&O insurance policy by the insurance company.

Seminars/Webinars
In conjunction with some of California's finest real estate attorneys and risk managers, we will be holding relevant and timely risk management insurance seminars throughout the state. In addition, many of the sessions will be taped so that you can view them at a later date. Upcoming insurance seminars will be posted on the CSI website. Policyholders whose agents attend or view these seminars/webinars may receive discounts on their professional errors and omissions insurance program.

You will receive e-newsletters with timely, topical insurance information presented by some of California's finest real estate attorneys and risk managers and others.
